Top 3 Point Guards

  1. John Wall ($9,300) vs. Chicago Bulls
  2. Kyrie Irving ($9,100) vs. Brooklyn Nets
  3. Dennis Smith Jr. ($5,400) vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

Rationale:

  • Scoring the ball has been a struggle for John Wall over the past nine games. The second leading scorer on the Washington Wizards has managed just 14.3 points on 39 percent shooting from the field during the nine-game run. Even though Wall hasn’t been posting lofty scoring numbers, his ability as a playmaker allows him to retain exceptional value in FanDuel NBA leagues. Wall is dishing out 8.7 assists a night, the fourth-highest average in the NBA this year.
  • Dallas Mavericks point guard Dennis Smith Jr. posted the first triple-double of his career Friday night in New Orleans. The 6’4″ rookie totaled 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the the field, with five conversions from 3-point range, to go along with 10 rebounds and 10 assists. If Smith is able to score efficiently, he could once again produce more than 40 points in FanDuel NBA tournament play, a feat he has accomplished just one other time in the last 20 games.
