5. Don’t give up

It might sound obvious, and in fact some fans might even disagree with this, but the Magic have to continue to be competitive.

Fans are growing beyond tired of seeing a below-average product on the floor each night, and it ensures veteran players steer clear of wanting to play in Orlando.

As long as the team plays hard, even if they then lose a game, that is all fans can ask for. Don’t forget this is a team that hammered the Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs earlier in the season.

Again we can talk about how injuries have curtailed this team’s productivity (Aaron Gordon led the league in 3-point shooting at one stage earlier in the year), but we should still expect more.

The losses are now going to pile up quickly, especially with the feeling that tanking is now the way to go, but watching this team roll over every night is no fun either.
