6. Anfernee Simons (PG/SG) – IMG Academy

Anfernee Simons’ jump up NBA draft boards might be more unintentional than intentional. Since he technically graduated high school, he’s eligible for the draft. Simons is playing a post-grad year at IMG Academy, where he’s enjoying a strong season. NBA scouts are rushing to what high school games he has left for any intel on the possible 2018 draft pick.

Simons committed to Louisville, but changed his mind after the FBI investigation involving the school. At 6’4″, he’s not quite a point guard or a shooting guard. Yet, thanks to his ability to hit jumpers and his athleticism, there are endless possibilities. Far from a safe pick, don’t be surprised if he’s a first-rounder next year.
