With still six months until the 2018 NBA Draft, we’ve already seen a high number of prospects put themselves on the map for draft consideration.
Who should be the top picks in an NBA Draft is one of the most popular conversations in a calendar year. The 2018 NBA Draft has a lot of heavy hitters. From Luka Doncic to Michael Porter Jr., we may have the most star power at the top of a draft since 2009. In that draft, Blake Griffin, James Harden, Stephen Curry and DeMar DeRozan were all taken in the top 10.
This year’s group will certainly draw plenty of discussion over the next few months. Another conversation that is only starting will be around through June’s draft. That topic is highest risers on draft boards. It happens every year and the 2017-18 season is no exception.
Donovan Mitchell was one of last year’s risers and look at him now. Risers don’t come in just one size, though. Risers can be non-prospects who enter draft conversations. Sometimes it’s a second-rounder who looks like a first round pick or even a first-rounder entering the lottery conversation.
This collegiate season has each of these kinds of players. With that in mind, here are six of the biggest risers ahead of the 2018 NBA Draft.
