13. Tyreke Evans

This season has been a complete train wreck for the Memphis Grizzlies, but no one can fault the efforts of Tyreke Evans, who is having the biggest impact of his career so far (albeit on a losing team).

Though his raw stats don’t measure up to his 20-5-5 stat line as a rookie with the Sacramento Kings, ‘Reke is averaging a well-rounded 18.2 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. What sets this season apart from any other season of his career are his profoundly improved shooting numbers.

Evans has never been a 3-point marksman, but so far in 2017-18, he’s shooting 48.2 percent from the field and 41.8 percent from downtown on 4.7 attempts per game — all career highs. Whether he’s been filling in as a starter or coming off the bench as the designated sixth man, Tyreke Evans has been one of the few positive storylines for the Grizzlies thus far.
