10. Bogdan Bogdanovic, Sacramento Kings

Last rank: N/A

The Sacramento Kings may be a young team, but their rookies are one positive thing to watch for them. They’ve gotten some heroics of their own from rookie guard Bogan Bogdanovic since he joined the team this past offseason. The rookie out of Serbia is averaging 9.2 points, 2.2 assists, 2.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game this season through 22 appearances.

The 25-year-old spent much of his career in Europe. This past year he played with Fenerbahce alongside Ekpe Udoh, Bobby Dixon and Jan Vesely. Bogdanovic led the team in scoring with 14.6 points per game.

The Kings are still searching for their identity and Bogdanovic has given them a reason to think he’s part of that identity. Bogdanovic scored a career-high 19 points in a 107-106 victory over the Chicago Bulls last Friday to begin the month of December.  On Nov. 27, Bogdanovic was responsible for the game-winning shot against the defending champion Golden State Warriors.

He’s currently shooting 44 percent from the field and 30.9 from 3-point range in 2017-18. As he is beginning to find his rhythm, the result is improving for Sacramento. They are only 7-15 in the Western Conference but as chemistry improves, so could their record.
