Top 4 Shooting Guards

  1. James Harden ($12,200) vs. Indiana Pacers
  2. Tyreke Evans ($7,500) vs. San Antonio Spurs
  3. Nicolas Batum ($5,800) vs. Toronto Raptors
  4. Avery Bradley ($5,300) vs. Phoenix Suns

Rationale:

  • Few players are talented enough to command $7,500 in FanDuel NBA lineups in a reserve role. Tyreke Evans has anchored the Grizzlies bench, averaging 20.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 1.8 made 3-pointers and 1.2 steals during the past 13 games — enough for 34.7 FanDuel NBA tournament points a game. Memphis has enabled Evans to attempt 13.4 shots a night, the third-most on the team and he has responded by connecting on 49 percent of his attempts, the highest percentage of his nine-year career.
  • Avery Bradley managed to supplement an off-night shooting the ball by creating scoring opportunities for his teammates Monday night. The 6’2″ guard dished out a season-high five assists, helping offset a 13-point effort on 5-of-14 shooting from the field. Bradley hasn’t been much of an option for FanDuel NBA leagues because he hasn’t been able to replicate  his rebounding of 6.1 per game last year with the Celtics during his first 19 games in Detroit. With an average of 2.9 rebounds a night, Bradley must continue to generate assists to merit a roster spot Wednesday night.
