Top 4 Point Guards

  1. Russell Westbrook ($11,000) vs. Orlando Magic
  2. Kyle Lowry ($8,200) vs. Charlotte Hornets
  3. Tim Frazier ($4,900) vs. Philadelphia 76ers
  4. Mike James ($4,400) vs. Detroit Pistons

Rationale:

  • Even though his scoring average has decreased by 10 points a night from his scoring champion run a year ago, Russell Westbrook remains an intriguing option for FanDuel NBA lineups. Once again Westbrook is flirting with a triple-double average, posting 21.6 points, 9.7 assists and 9.1 rebounds a night. Over the last five games, Westbrook is logging a triple-double average, totaling 25.2 points, 11.6 rebounds and 10 assists — enough to anchor any fantasy basketball lineup.
  • A knee injury is expected to sideline All-Star point guard John Wall for the next two weeks, boosting the stock of Tim Frazier in FanDuel NBA leagues significantly. Starting in place of Wall didn’t yield the elevated numbers expected Tuesday night, as Frazier delivered just two points and four assists in 16 minutes against Minnesota. Frazier is more than capable of delivering as a spot starter, as he proved last year in New Orleans when he posted averages of 8.9 points and 6.9 assists in 35 starts.
