1. Kendrick Perkins

Kendrick Perkins is desperately doing all that he can to get back into the NBA, and if there is anyone who knows how hard Perk works and the influence he can have on a team, it’s Tom Thibodeau.

Thibodeau was an assistant coach on the Boston Celtics when they won the title back in 2008. That year Perkins started 78 games. He played solid defense and brought toughness to the team.

Right now Perkins is 33 years old and is having a decent season with the Canton Charge of the NBA G-League. Through six games Perkins has put up 12.2 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game on 51.6 percent shooting. But you are not picking up Kendrick Perkins because of his numbers.

Perkins brings over a decade of NBA experience and he would be a great mentor in Minnesota for KAT, especially at a stage in his career where he needs to lock in on the defensive end.
