Karl-Anthony Towns recently won Western Conference player of the week. He has kept up his great offense while showing flashes of potential on D, but he could still use more help guarding the more physical centers in the league, and there are a decent amount of available “bigs” who could help.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are currently 11-7. They have impressed many this season with their explosive offense. Their issue has been an inability to get stops on the defensive end.

They are currently 25th in the league in defensive rebounds, which is quite low for a Tom Thibodeau-coached team. The T-Wolves force turnovers and keep their opponents off the free throw line. But they are 27th in the league in blocked shots, 23rd in defensive rating and dead last in opponent field goal percentage.

Thibodeau needs this team to lock in defensively. They are a few options Thibs could look to to bring in some much-needed toughness and inside presence in defense.
