3. DeMar DeRozan is still really good

It is no secret that the Raptor’s star player is DeMar DeRozan, and he has been able to carry the majority of the load so far for the team this season.

Through his first 15 games, DeRozan has been able to post 24.7 points, 4.5 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game. Because of this, the Raptors are off to a great start.

His best game so far this season has been against the Rockets. During this game, DeRozan had 27 points, six rebounds and five assists, against one of the best teams in the NBA this season.

One standout factor in DeRozan’s game so far this season has been his defense. This season he has been able to average 1.3 steals per game. If the Raptors want to continue to build on this great start, he needs to keep improving on the defensive end.

For more information about how DeRozan has been playing, check out the article I wrote here. But, just know that without DeRozan, the Raptors would not have been able to start off hot this season.
