Jonas Valanciunas ($5,100)

Valanciunas has undoubtably struggled this season. After just two games this season, he was sidelined with injury for four games. But even after coming back, he didn’t look like his normal self. At first the Toronto Raptors had him on a minutes restriction, easing him back into the lineup, but after Nov. 15’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans, it appears Valanciunas is back.

He posted over 28 minutes in that game, scoring 21 points, getting six rebounds and shooting an insane 75 percent from the field — and he did it going against two of the best big men in the league too! Jonas is back, and if he’s playing big minutes, he’s a great fantasy play. DraftKings should absolutely have him higher than his current salary, but because of his recent minute restriction they’ve dropped his price.

Look for Valanciunas to get his numbers against a middle of the road defensive team in the Knicks. He’ll be able to body the likes of Enes Kanter and Kristaps Porzingis no problem, while getting rebounds on the defensive end when the Knicks go small. Continue to use Valanciunas in lineups until DraftKings raises his price.
