Top 4 Shooting Guards

  1. Bradley Beal ($7,700) vs. Sacramento Kings
  2. C.J. McCollum ($7,000) vs. Denver Nuggets
  3. Tyreke Evans ($6,800) vs. Milwaukee Bucks
  4. Donovan Mitchell ($5,800) vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

Rationale:

  • Usually the precise shooting of Bradley Beal is what makes him an exceptional shooting guard option in FanDuel NBA tournament play, but it was his impact on the defensive end that stood out Saturday night against Atlanta. Beal registered three steals, marking the third time this season he has tallied that steal total, to go along with 19 points, four rebounds and four assists. The greatest strength of the Wizards this year has been their ability to get to the foul line. Washington ranks fourth in the league in free throw attempts, a figure that has elevated behind Beal’s career-high 6.3 attempts per game.
  • Points are once again at a premium in Memphis. Only Tyreke Evans is providing consistent scoring, among many other contributions off the bench. The Grizzlies are scoring 101 points per game, the fourth fewest in the league, but Evans has excelled in his time on the court. Evans ranks third on the team in scoring at 17.8 points, second in rebounding (4.8) and his 3.1 assists are tied for the second-most. Even though Evans has yet to start a game in Memphis, he has poured in 20 or more points in five straight contests.
