Evan Turner ($4,200)

Turner has been outright shooting the ball terribly. In his last two games he’s shot 5-for-16 from the field. But Turner has also been getting to the line effectively. In his last two games he’s gone 9-for-10 from the stripe. If Turner can get a couple of shots to fall, he’ll outperform his value no problem, and there are a couple of factors working for him.

First and foremost is that Al-Farouq Aminu is still out, giving Turner (who primarily comes off the bench) an opportunity to get more minutes on the floor. Secondly, the Nets, while better than last year, are still not a great defensive team. There should be enough points to go around for Turner to get on the score sheet.

Another factor is that Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is currently questionable with an injury to play, so Turner may be matched up with their backup which may be Allen Crabbe or Caris LeVert, both of which are not known for their defensive prowess.
