Top Four Shooting Guards

  1. DeMar DeRozan ($8,100) vs. Chicago Bulls
  2. Victor Oladipo ($7,200) vs. New Orleans Pelicans
  3. Tyreke Evans ($6,200) vs. Portland Trail Blazers
  4. Donovan Mitchell ($5,200) vs. Philadelphia 76ers

Rationale:

  • Chicago is among the numerous teams Toronto guard DeMar DeRozan has torched throughout his career. The Bulls are one of 13 teams DeRozan is scoring more than 20 points per game against during his career, and in three meetings a year ago, he posted 32 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 1.7 steals per game. Even though he doesn’t feel comfortable shooting from beyond the arc, he has still managed to post 23.9 points a night early in the 2017-18 season.
  • Victor Oladipo is providing the scoring punch expected of a player selected with the second overall pick in the NBA Draft. During his first season with the Pacers, Oladipo has become one of the most potent scoring threats at the shooting guard position, logging 23.8 points per game while converting 44.6 percent of his attempts from 3-point range, both career-highs. Oladipo has scored 25 or more points four times, matching his total in 67 games with Oklahoma City a year ago.
