Top Four Point Guards

  1. Damian Lillard ($9,800) vs. Memphis Grizzlies
  2. Dennis Smith Jr. ($5,100) vs. Washington Wizards
  3. Frank Ntilikina ($4,300) vs. Charlotte Hornets
  4. Tim Frazier ($4,000) vs. Dallas Mavericks

Rationale:

  • Leaving Damian Lillard off the Western Conference All-Star team may be more difficult than ever. Through the first 10 games of the year, the Portland point guard has posted averages of 27.1 points, 6.6 assists, 5.4 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game. Part of the appeal for FanDuel NBA lineups is Lillard’s ability to generate easy points for himself, as he ranks fifth in the league in free throw attempts per game (8.8) and is converting 93.2 percent of the time, the eighth-highest mark among all qualified players in the league.
  • With the status of John Wall uncertain for Tuesday night, Tim Frazier becomes an intriguing low-budget point guard option for FanDuel NBA rosters. Frazier may start in place of Wall for the second consecutive game as he nurses a sore shoulder as the result of a collision with Channing Frye on a drive to the basket. In 35 starts with New Orleans a year ago, Frazier logged 8.9 points, 6.9 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game. Frazier dished out eight assists in place of Wall Sunday night, enough to garner consideration if he gets the start.
