Detroit Pistons shock the Clippers and Warriors on the road
Lonzo Ball and the Los Angeles Lakers
Tuesday night the Pistons face the Los Angeles Lakers and Lonzo Ball. On paper, this is the game the Detroit Pistons fans could envision their team winning when the team set off for this road trip.
However, with two games in the books, fans are starting to believe in the impossible. Can the Pistons really pull off a sweep on this California road trip? When the Pistons left the confines of Little Caesars Arena did anyone think they’d enter the Halloween matchup against the Lakers disguised as a legitimate team?
The Pistons are hoping to make the Lakers their third casualty in four days.
The Lakers are below .500 with a record of 2-3. Beating them on Halloween might prove to be more trick than treat for the Pistons. If the Pistons play like they played last night, fatigue could become a factor by Tuesday. The Pistons’ toughest opponent might be the team everyone thought they had the best chance of beating when this road trip started.
