Honorable Mentions

Evan Turner was once again quite brilliant off the bench for the Portland Trail Blazers, finishing with 13 points, seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block in 30 minutes. He scored seven of his 13 points in the first quarter, helping fuel a 16-1 run that gave Rip City a 29-19 first quarter lead.

Four games into the season, Turner is averaging 13.3 points, 4.3 assists and 3.8 rebounds in 29.8 minutes per game, which definitely shows some improvement from last season.

Pat Connaughton was also great off the bench, tallying eight points and six rebounds in 23 minutes. He finished a +14 on the night, hitting shots and grabbing boards exactly when the team needed them most.

The last honorable mention is Jusuf Nurkic, who posted 12 points and seven rebounds in 20 minutes. He finished +10 in box score behind McCollum, Connaughton and the next player on our list, Caleb Swanigan.
