Top Four Shooting Guards

  1. Victor Oladipo ($7,100) vs. Miami Heat
  2. Devin Booker ($6,700) vs. Los Angeles Clippers
  3. Eric Gordon ($6,500) vs. Dallas Mavericks
  4. Donovan Mitchell ($4,600) vs. Oklahoma City Thunder

Rationale:

  • After totaling just 76 points in the season opener, Suns shooting guard Devin Booker went out of his way to provide an offensive spark for his team. The result was a 25 point, 11 rebound, 8 assist, 2 steal effort in a 132-130 loss to the Lakers. Phoenix nearly doubled their point total from its initial outing of the year as Booker accounted for a third of the point total for the team. If Booker can continue to inflate his assist average, he can develop into an elite shooting guard prospect for FanDuel NBA rosters.
  • Following exciting performances at the NBA Summer League tournament and in preseason, Donovan Mitchell was billed as one of the most exciting players in the league’s vaunted rookie class. After two regular season performances, Mitchell looks very much like a first year performer. The 21-year-old guard has totaled just 12 points on 4-of-18 shooting from the field (22.2 percent), sending his valuation in FanDuel NBA leagues down. For any roster in need of a low cost, high upside performer, Mitchell is worth consideration.
