2. Average over 10 points per game

The Washington Wizards will have one of the best starting lineups in the NBA when it’s all said and done in 2017-18. Their bench is the biggest question mark entering the season but they did good to acquire some quality veterans in the offseason.

Point guard Tim Frazier is a pass-first point guard who gives them a player who can run an offense and distribute with the second unit. Frazier averaged 5.2 assists per game last season with the New Orleans Pelicans.

The acquisition of Frazier should bode well for Oubre when they play alongside each other in 2017-18. He should see an increase in his shot attempts and points production giving way to a goal of averaging over 10 points per game this season.

It’s not a farfetched goal considering the emergence of Porter in 2016-17 with point guard John Wall at the helm. Porter averaged 13.4 points per game in his fourth season with the Wizards while shooting 43.4 percent from 3-point range.

Oubre Jr. put up 21 points in 23 minutes in Washington’s final preseason game against the New York Knicks, so the potential is clearly there.
