7. Kristaps Porzingis, New York Knicks

With Carmelo Anthony gone, the Kristaps Porzingis era has officially begun in the Big Apple. After averaging 18.1 points, 7.2 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game on .450/.357/.786 shooting splits last year, just imagine what he’ll be capable of in Year 3 without Melo’s shot count to worry about.

At 7’1″, the Zinger possesses superstar potential on both ends of the floor. He protects the rim, can spread the floor to 3-point range and is an absolute beast on the offensive glass, regularly terrorizing anyone who’s not boxing out with high-flying put-back dunks.

His offensive game needs work, and for all his talent, the New York Knicks are still going to be very bad this season. But the future is very bright, and it starts in 2017-18.
