3. OG Anunoby is the most underrated rookie in the 2017 draft class

There are a lot of extremely talented players that are heading into their rookie season this year, but OG Anunoby might very well be the most dynamic out of all of them.

That is not to say that he is the “best” rookie in the class, but he may very well be the most athletic. Toronto is going to see its rookie miss time due to an injury he suffered during the college season. When he comes back, however, there is a good chance that Casey will find immediate minutes for him.

Anunoby still has a lot of work to do on the offensive end of the floor, but there is no denying his star scoring potential. He has also shown the ability to be a lockdown defender.

Outside of those things, Anunoby is a very smart basketball player. Many compare him to Indiana Pacers shooting guard Victor Oladipo, which bodes well for Anunoby’s future in Toronto. He may not be the best rookie in the 2017-18 class, but he might just be the most underrated.
