4. Dwane Casey will win Coach of the Year

Dwane Casey is one of the most underrated head coaches in the NBA. Even with all of the success that he has led the Raptors to in recent years, he is still not talked about as an elite head coach.

That will change a bit this season, as Casey will end up winning the NBA’s Coach of the Year Award.

Toronto has a lot of talent on its roster, but it does not have an elite superstar. Casey does not have a LeBron James, Russell Westbrook or James Harden to utilize. That has hurt him in the past, but it will not continue doing so this year.

Casey will end up winning the Coach of the Year award for leading the Raptors to 55 wins and contention in the playoffs. He will gain even more respect because he was able to do it without having an MVP-caliber superstar on his roster.
