5. Toronto finishes third in the East with 55 wins

Last season, the Raptors finished the season with a 51-31 record and finished third in the Eastern Conference. This season, Toronto will improve its record to 55-27 and will once again be the third-best team in the conference.

Very few teams have the type of scoring in their backcourt that the Raptors do. DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry are a lethal duo and that will not change this season. Those two players alone are capable of taking the Raptors to the No. 3 seed in the playoff race out East.

Toronto may not have made any major additions this offseason, but its roster from last year was good enough to finish third in the conference. The East only got weaker this offseason.

Expect to see the Raptors finish at No. 3 behind the Cavaliers and Celtics and to give both teams a run for their money.
