9. Myles Turner

With Jimmy Butler, Paul George, Carmelo Anthony and Paul Millsap all migrating West, four frontcourt roster spots just opened up on the Eastern Conference All-Star team. One of the top candidates to fill one of those spots has to be the main man for the Indiana Pacers, Myles Turner.

With PG-13 gone, Turner seizes control of the franchise sooner than expected. That’s a lot of responsibility for a 21-year-old, but after he averaged 14.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game on .511/.348/.809 shooting splits last year, it’s tantalizing to think about what he might do as the No. 1 option.

Bojan Bogdanovic is going to have free rein to fire away and Victor Oladipo will be a key piece to implement as well, but on both ends of the floor, Turner will be thrust into “face of the franchise” duties. If he proves to be up to the task in just his third year, there will be an All-Star spot with his name on it.
