5. Sacramento will improve by at least seven wins

While the playoffs may not be an option for the Kings this season, they will show a lot of improvement. Sacramento finished the 2016-17 season with a 32-50 record. This year, the Kings will have at least 39 regular season wins.

Head coach Dave Joerger has to be happy with the additions that the Kings made this offseason. He has a lot more talent to work with this year. After a rough season of change with DeMarcus Cousins being traded, having a roster that is expected to last long-term will give Joerger a much better idea of how to run things.

Needless to say, it will be interesting to see how the Kings stack up against the Western Conference. They aren’t going to beat the elite teams consistently, but they aren’t going to be a pushover win anymore.

Don’t be surprised if the Kings find a way to reach 40 wins this season, even though there still isn’t a lot of hype surrounding them.
