What five bold predictions can be made for the Sacramento Kings’ 2017-18 NBA season?

The Sacramento Kings are heading into the 2017-18 NBA season with a lot of optimism surrounding their young roster. Vlade Divac had an excellent offseason, picking up a lot of talent in the 2017 NBA Draft and also signing some valuable veteran leadership in free agency.

De’Aaron Fox, Justin Jackson and Harry Giles were all drafted in the first round, with Frank Jackson III being selected in the second round. It was the first draft that the Kings have dominated in a long time and the future couldn’t be brighter. This group of young talent could be exactly what the Kings needed to get back into playoff contention in a few years.

Looking ahead to the upcoming season, there are quite a few reasons for fans to be excited. It is highly unlikely that the Kings will make a playoff push this season, but the fans should expect to see big steps in the right direction.

Signing veterans like Vince Carter and Zach Randolph will help the young players develop. Carter, in particular, is exactly the kind of veteran leadership that the Kings need.

All of that being said, what bold predictions can be made for the Kings’ 2017-18 season?
