Media Day finally returned for the Cleveland Cavaliers last week. Here are five takeaways from their first meeting with the media.

The Cleveland Cavaliers kicked off Media Day last Monday, and you could immediately sense that they mean business.

It was one of the wildest offseasons in Cavaliers history with their acquisitions, Kyrie Irving being traded, staff changes, and oh yeah, countless narratives about where LeBron James is headed after the season. It’s definitely been one that Cavs fans will never forget.

Everybody seemed happy, loose and ready to get the season started. Veterans such as Jose Calderon and Derrick Rose appreciated being in a situation where they have a chance to win. Rose even mentioned to Cavs.com how he missed being in the postseason.

He’s missed it the last two years with the Chicago Bulls and New York Knicks, and wants the feeling of being focused and “playing for something,” which he will get with the Cavaliers.

Jae Crowder talked about how he didn’t have to come in and set the tempo to Cavs. com. He mentioned how he did that everyday for the Boston Celtics, but that it was already the attitude of the team in Cleveland.

With so many new faces, and a new year, It is shaping out to be an interesting year for the Cavaliers, and the NBA. Here are five takeaways from the Cavaliers’ 2017-18 Media Day.
