1. Starting PG questions

Although the Sacramento Kings did have point guard issues at this time last year, the 2016-17 rotation was effectively established. Darren Collison missed the first eight games of the year due to a suspension, but he started 64 games at point guard last season.

The situation is a little more fluid for the 2017-18 season. George Hill is joining the team on a big three-year deal, but rookie De’Aaron Fox is clearly the future of the position. Fox made it known early on that he will be surrounded by veteran leadership in the locker room:

While Sacramento’s focus is (and should be) on Fox’s development, it is not entirely clear yet what that will mean in terms of playing time. Both Fox and Hill are primarily point guards, but Hill has experience with guarding larger perimeter players and playing off the ball.

The team may end up being best served by playing the two together for large portions of the game while fitting in minutes for Buddy Hield around the Fox/Hill tandem.
