Los Angeles Clippers: 5 takeaways from 2017-18 Media Day
3. The PatBev/Milos reunion
The Los Angeles Clippers will have a new look at point guard next season. After years of Chris Paul running the show, Patrick Beverley and Milos Teodosic will battle it out for the starting point guard role.
Although Teodosic and Beverley might have a competition for the starting point guard duties, they will not be competing off the court. Their reunion was an immediate talking point from Clippers Media Day:
Beverley and Teodosic might both be new to the Clippers, but they are not new to each other. The two played together at Olympiakos during Beverley’s time in Europe. Bev has been heaping praise on Teodosic all offseason, notably calling him the best passer in the world shortly after the deal was finalized.
Regardless of which one (or both) of them starts in the backcourt, their chemistry on and off the court should be something to watch next season.
