5. Stay on the court

If you’ve been reading all of these, you may have started to pick up on something of a trend here (don’t be surprised if this comes up with Chandler Parsons too).

Evans, much like many of his teammates in Memphis, has dealt with some fairly serious injuries throughout his career. He’s played in just 65 games across the last two years, dealing primarily with knee and ankle injuries (per Basketball Reference).

Evans finished the 2016-17 season in reasonably good health, but the fact that he’s only topped the 75-game mark once in his eight year career is reason for pause. Much of his game is predicated on athleticism, and the long-term effects of a growing list of ailments could cause his game to age poorly. Evans isn’t quite old or oft-injured enough to give up on completely though, and it’s not crazy to think he could play a substantial number of games.

We’ll set the bar at 70.
