It was recently announced that NBA 2K18 will feature an All-Time team for every franchise. Here is what the starting lineup for the Oklahoma City Thunder could look like.

The Oklahoma City Thunder have a loyal fanbase, some that have followed them all the way from the Northwest when they were the Seattle SuperSonics. In the 51 years the franchise has been in existence, there have been some great successes.

The SuperSonics won the NBA Finals in 1979 and have made four appearances total in the Finals; they lost as the SuperSonics in 1978 and 1996 and as the Thunder in 2012. Throughout that time, there have been a number of great players to take the court for the franchise. Now, fans will have a chance to see them on the court together.

It was recently announced that this year’s version of NBA 2K will have an All-Time team for every franchise in the NBA. While NBA 2K has had legendary teams, such as the 1992 Dream Team, in the game before, this is the first time that each franchise will have an All-Time team of their own.

More from Oklahoma City Thunder

Some franchises, such as the Chicago Bulls, have had teams from specific seasons in the game, but not players from all different eras on one roster. Now, fans will have the chance to make that dream into somewhat of a reality.

For Thunder and SuperSonics fans, they could see Gary Payton and Russell Westbrook playing in the same backcourt. Imagine Westbrook in the open court with Shawn Kemp as a running mate, or the original Big Three of Westbrook, James Harden, and Kevin Durant is back together.

The possibilities are endless for fans of the franchise as they can mix and match players from different eras. Who may be the starting five for the team? We take a crack picking the starting lineup for the Thunder’s All-Time team in NBA 2K18.
