2. Three-point percentage must stay above 40 percent

One of Hield’s strengths throughout his collegiate career and rookie season in the NBA has been his ability to shoot the three-point shot. He has the potential to become one of the most lethal three-point shooters in the NBA if he continues improving and reaching his full talent.

That being said, he cannot afford to suffer a decrease in his shooting numbers in his second season.

Hield must keep his three-point percentage above 40 percent if he wants to be the type of scorer that the Kings need. They need a guy that can put up 25 points on any given night. Long-range shooting is something that most star shooting guards do well and Hield fits that mold.

Don’t be surprised if Hield not only stays above the 40 percent mark, but also improves his percentage slightly from the 42.8 percent mark he had last season.
