4. Josh Jackson – Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns had to be delighted on draft night when Josh Jackson fell to the No. 4 pick. A Swiss army knife on offense, though with a troubling jumper, it’ll be exciting to see how much of that reputation shines through in Las Vegas. His jumper will be key to watch as well.

Again, Summer League isn’t the ultimate decider of rookie’s fates, but it can show you what a player is capable of presently. This week-plus of basketball will help us see how useful Jackson is on offense and how ready he is on defense.

Phoenix is banking on him being a two-way threat who can play above the rim, make plays for his teammates and compete. He’ll likely bring the kind of excitement that Donovan Mitchell has for Utah, only with a bit more star power.
