Jarrett Jack: 1 year, $2.3 million (New York Knicks)

Apparently Ramon Sessions was not enough by way of over-the-hill veterans to help rookie Frank Ntilikina develop, so now Jarrett Jack enters the fray on a one-year, non-guaranteed deal.

This isn’t a bad signing for the New York Knicks, who bring in a 33-year-old veteran in the hopes he can conquer his recent injury woes that have limited him to 34 games over the last two seasons.

However, between the injury history, Sessions being the better player and the need for the Knicks to feed Ntilikina minutes, it’s unlikely Jack amounts to anything more than spot minutes in the backcourt.
