1. Minnesota Timberwolves

The Minnesota Timberwolves made a huge splash by acquiring Jimmy Butler on draft night.  He, along with Andrew Wiggins, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Jeff Teague provide a stellar foundation for the franchise. The Timberwolves desperately need three-point shooting help though, and Korver would be a significant boost for them. He would also be reuniting with coach Tom Thibodeau from their years together with the Chicago Bulls.

Last year, Zach LaVine led the Timberwolves in three-point shooting. Now that LaVine is gone, Towns and Jimmy Butler own the highest percentages on the team. Having a post player who is able to stretch the floor and make three-pointers is definitely an asset. However, at this stage in his career, Towns is not Dirk Nowitzki and should not be second on the team in three-point attempts per game.

The Minnesota Timberwolves clearly need immediate help with their perimeter shooting and Kyle Korver could provide that. His presence alone would help keep defenses more honest on Andrew Wiggins and Jimmy Butler. If they are able to sign him and a couple other free agents this summer, they could make major waves in the Western Conference.
