2. Houston Rockets

With Chris Paul and James Harden spearheading a Mike D’Antoni offense, Kyle Korver could be lethal out on the perimeter. The Houston Rockets will be looking to fill major holes in their roster after the trade for CP3. While they have one of the best guard combinations in the league, the Rockets need to add shooters to support them.

The Rockets are perhaps the one team that is not concerned about Korver’s defensive abilities. His shooting skills and floor-spacing capabilities would give Paul and Harden a consistent threat. Last year, the Rockets shots more than 10 more three-pointers per game than their opponents. They also averaged over 115 points a game while giving up just under 110 points. It is safe to say that the emphasis in Houston is to score more than your opponent.

Other teams may be able to offer more money in free agency, but the Rockets can offer Kyle Korver a role with plenty of shot opportunities. He would benefit from playing alongside two of the best point guards in the game, and if Houston were able to sign Korver, it’d be one step closer to challenging the Golden State Warriors.
