1. Vince Carter, SF

Signing forward Vince Carter would make Bay Area fans happy and also help solidify the bench for the Golden State Warriors. Carter adds veteran experience, three-point shooting, perimeter defense, and an exemplary work ethic. After various injuries throughout his career, Carter was able to play in 73 regular season games in 2017.

At this point in his career, Vince Carter is able to offer stability and consistent minutes to NBA teams. Carter is the type of player who does not require heavy minutes or a dedicated role in the offense to blend in. He would immediately provide leadership and accountability to the Warriors bench.

On ESPN’s The Jump, VC even said he would consider taking a discount to join the Dubs in free agency:

"“I want to do, somewhat, what Kevin Durant did. I want to do for my team. I want to go out there and play and provide and show that I can still play this game.”"

While the Warriors would not be getting “Vinsanity,” they would be signing a veteran presence who is determined to add a ring to his resume. Depending on the size of the paycut that he is willing to make, Carter could be key in helping the Warriors sign another key player in free agency.

It would be quite fitting for Vince Carter to end his career with a title in the same building that helped launch his career over 17 years ago.
