Ben McLemore, SG, Sacramento Kings

News broke earlier this week that the Sacramento Kings will not be bringing Ben McLemore back and that he will enter unrestricted free agency. At just 24 years old, he is one of the most intriguing free agents that will be available on the market.

Not many would put McLemore this high on the free agency wishlist, but the Lakers are searching for talent. McLemore has not scratched the surface of his potential, although many don’t think he ever will. Despite that fact, a change of scenery might be exactly what McLemore needs.

McLemore averaged just 8.1 points per game last season with the Kings, shooting 43.0 percent from the field and 38.2 percent from three-point range. He also chipped in 2.1 rebounds per game.

There is no denying the potential that McLemore possesses, which is why the Lakers should take a flier on a low-cost, potentially high-reward deal.
