Top Four Shooting Guards

  1. James Harden ($11,400) vs. Brooklyn Nets
  2. DeMar DeRozan ($8,500) vs. Milwaukee Bucks
  3. Lou Williams ($6,300) vs. Sacramento Kings
  4. Jamal Crawford ($6,100) vs. Portland Trail Blazers

Rationale:

  • For each of the past two games, James Harden fell just one rebound shy of posting a triple-double. Instead of adding to his five total triple-doubles this season, Harden instead increased his advantage as the league leader in assists. With 12 assists against the Thunder, then 16 Saturday night against Dallas, Harden is now averaging 11.6 assists per game, nearly the same average Rajon Rondo led the league with a year ago.
  • Anytime Jamal Crawford steps on the court, he’s a threat to light up the scoreboard. Over the past four games, Crawford has been especially potent, scoring 20 or more points three times during the span. The surge in scoring has been the result of his accuracy from 3-point range, as he has converted 7-of-17 attempts (41.2 percent) and is coming off a seaosn-high 22 point effort against New Orleans Saturday night.
