Top Four Shooting Guards

  1. James Harden ($11,500) vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
  2. Giannis Antetokounmpo ($10,200) vs. Boston Celtics
  3. Avery Bradley ($6,900) vs. Toronto Raptors
  4. Wesley Matthews ($5,100) vs. Indiana Pacers

Rationale:

  • A string of six consecutive games with 50 percent shooting from the field or better from Giannis Antetokounmpo was snapped Wednesday against Portland, so instead he found other ways to contribute. The Trail Blazers limited Antetokounmpo to 15 points on 4-of-11 shooting from the field, so instead of relying on his scoring, Milwaukee benefited from his array of skills. Antetokounmpo posted his second triple-double of the year, adding 12 rebounds, 11 assists, four blocks and two steals, resulting in 54.9 point in FanDuel NBA play.
  • A strange phenomenon is happening in the NBA, as 15 players are shooting better from 3-point range than they are from the field. Wesley Matthews has connected on 38.3 percent of his attempts from beyond the arc, but just 36.4 percent from inside it. Matthews has managed to become a viable FanDuel NBA candidate over the past six games, posting over 25 fantasy points five times during the span, as his long range shots have found the bottom of the net 48.2 percent of the time.
