Rationale:

  • Only three players have poured in 300 or more points this season: Anthony Davis, DeMar DeRozan and Damian Lillard. In his fifth season, Lillard is becoming one of the most effective scorers in the league, as he is just shy of being included in the prestigious 50/40/90 club, as he is shooting 49.7 percent from the field, 38.9 percent from 3-point range and 89.6 percent at the foul line. The efficient scoring makes Lillard ideal for FanDuel NBA play.
  • A sprained right elbow forced Ricky Rubio to miss five consecutive games before he returned Saturday night against the Clippers. In his return, Rubio totaled seven points, six assists, six rebounds and a steal in less than 25 minutes. Rubio remains one of the most effective passers in the league and has dished out at least five assists in each game he has played this year.
