Top Four Shooting Guards

  1. James Harden ($11,800) vs. Washington Wizards
  2. Dwyane Wade ($6,700) vs. Orlando Magic
  3. Monta Ellis ($5,900) vs. Charlotte Hornets
  4. E’Twaun Moore ($4,400) vs. Golden State Warriors

Rationale:

  • The jersey No. 3 for Dwyane Wade is even more appropriate for his time in Chicago. The All-Star guard in each of the past 12 seasons has added a new dimension to his game, greatly fluctuating his value in FanDuel NBA leagues this season. By becoming a consistent 3-point shooter, as Wade is sinking 1.7 shots a night from beyond the arc at a 47.6 percent clip, he has provided a solution to the biggest problem facing the Bulls this season, long range shooting. Both the frequency and accuracy from Wade are unprecedented in his career, as he has never made more than 1.1 shots per game from 3-point range and never better than 31.7 percent.
  • A groin injury to Lance Stephenson has ended his tenure with the Pelicans, opening up additional playing time for E’Twaun Moore. New Orleans has signed free agent guard Archie Goodwin to fill the void left behind Stephenson. While Moore has started all six games and ranks second only to Anthony Davis in minutes played for the Pelicans, he has attempted just 10.2 shots a night, a figure that could increase with a higher workload Monday against Golden State. Guaranteed minutes for a value pick for a FanDuel NBA roster is rare, so Moore could be a steal tonight.
