Dec. 2, 2016: Cavaliers at Chicago Bulls

During Chicago’s rise to NBA prominence from the late 1980s to the mid-1990s, they knocked the Cavaliers out of the playoffs at will, including consecutive sweeps in 1993 and 1994.

However, that trend has changed during James’ career. In fact, James’ teams have eliminated the Bulls from the playoffs four times in the past seven seasons, with the most recent occurrence taking place in 2015.

This contest will mark the first meeting between these two ball clubs. While James has played 35 regular season games against the Bulls as a member of the Cavaliers, this will be the first time he will play against them as a defending champion.

It is also worth noting this will be the first time that Dwyane Wade will face off against his friend (James), since joining the Bulls during the offseason.

A matchup between Wade and James usually makes for good television, and this time will be no exception.
