Mar. 2, 2017: Bulls vs. Golden State Warriors

When the Dubs made their lone appearance at the United Center last year, the matchup between the two ball clubs turned out to be a one-sided affair.

In fact, the Warriors led by 16 points after the opening stanza and went on to win the game by a 125-94 margin despite Derrick Rose’s 29-point performance. At that point in time, the Bulls still held the record for most regular season wins.

When two teams hook up at the U.C. this time around, the Warriors will be the team that holds the distinction of the greatest regular-season team ever, after winning 73 games during the 2015-16 campaign.

Adding Kevin Durant to an already formidable starting lineup that includes the best shooting backcourt in the league will give the Warriors a decisive advantage against every team they face.

While Dwyane Wade and Rajon Rondo make the Bulls somewhat better, they still don’t have the level of talent needed to beat the team that was one win away from winning the title.

Simply put, the Warriors ran the Bulls out of their own gym last year and they will more than likely do so again this year as well.
