The Washington Wizards look to be out of the Kevin Durant sweepstakes, but they still have money to spend in free agency. Here are three players the Wizards will target come July 1.

Washington Wizards rumors have been picking up recently with the free agent period right around the corner. The Wizards will not be getting a meeting with Kevin Durant, as they will have to look elsewhere to upgrade their roster after a disappointing 2014-15 season.

The Wizards missed the postseason last season after making it for two consecutive seasons, taking a step back. It led to the firing of Randy Whittman as head coach, with Scott Brooks taking over as head coach.

That is an improvement for the Wizards, as they will now look to upgrade their roster as well.

The Wizards have a franchise point guard in place in John Wall, but need to continue adding pieces around him. Bradley Beal is another building block in the backcourt, but is a restricted free agent.

He is expected to be retained by the Wizards no matter the asking price, as Beal is looking to land a max deal this summer.

More from Washington Wizards

With those two in place the Wizards have a solid foundation to build around, but little else to get excited about. They will look to make a splash this summer to get things back on track and to make it back to the postseason.

The Wizards will be looking to make some improvements in their front court, where they are lacking any building blocks like they have in the backcourt.

Otto Porter Jr. and Kelly Oubre are still young with potential, but the Wizards are looking to add some veteran help to get the team back on track.

With Durant no longer an option, the Wizards have already set their sight on three more players to help fill out their roster and improve their front court. Which players are they? With about $30 million available, the Wizards could make a splash this summer.

Check out the slideshow for the three players that the Wizards will be targeting early in free agency to help fill the wholes in their front court.
