NBA Free Agency: Best Fits For Lance Stephenson
By Justin Rowan
4. Oklahoma City Thunder
Another team that is in need of wing depth with limited means to acquire it is the Oklahoma City Thunder.
While they added Victor Oladipo via trade on draft night, he isn’t really a candidate to slide over to the small forward position should Kevin Durant play power forward at times (assuming he stays with the Thunder).
The Thunder lacked players that could initiate the offense outside of Durant and Russell Westbrook, which lead to the offense becoming predictable and ultimately solved by the Golden State Warriors.
The Thunder did have success with multiple great athletes and long arms that could cause havoc on the defensive end of the floor and Stephenson is a player that can fit that mold when motivated.

While they don’t have a history of changing a volatile player, Billy Donovan was able to get Dion Waiters to play some of the best basketball of his career, so maybe there is some hope should they decide to gamble on Stephenson.
