Phoenix Suns: 5 Draft Options At No. 34
Assuming the Phoenix Suns keep the 34th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, here’s a look at five prospects they should consider selecting.
On the eve of the 2016 NBA Draft, the Phoenix Suns have plenty of options. Aside from owning four picks in the top-34, general manager Ryan McDonough has a bevy of upcoming free agents, disgruntled stars on other teams and possible trade packages to sift through this summer.
With a collection of young but movable assets, the Suns have a ton of flexibility to make a move in any direction. Navigating such open waters may prove to be impossible if the goal is a one-year turnaround, but with three first round picks to work with, McDonough has weapons at his disposal.
Assuming that packaging some or all of those picks to land a franchise player becomes impossible, however, what should the Suns actually do with their draft picks this year?

Honorable Mentions:
- Zhou Qi: A massive 7’2″ draft-and-stash prospect who was already an option on our top five prospects for the No. 28 pick.
- Petr Cornelie: A lanky 6’11” stretch-4 who would be another draft-and-stash candidate and already appeared in our piece on the No. 28 pick.
- Juan Hernangomez: Another terrific stretch-4 option for the Suns at No. 28 who is highly unlikely to drop all the way to No. 34.
