4. C Joakim Noah

Speaking of buy-low candidates, Joakim Noah could be another post presence that the Celtics could potentially chase this summer.

Noah, much like Jefferson, battled a handful of injuries this past season, most notably a shoulder injury which required surgery in January that sidelined him for the remainder of the season.

At 31 years of age, Noah still has plenty of basketball left in those legs once he recovers from his shoulder surgery.

Defensively, Noah would be a perfect low post defender for the Celtics, as he has been relentless in altering shots and attacking the glass over his first nine seasons in the league.

While injuries were a large reason for his decline in scoring this past season (4.3 points per game), Noah is only two full seasons removed from his best scoring year as a professional, as he averaged 12.6 points per game in the 2013-14 campaign.

Much like Jefferson, Noah could be an intriguing option for the Celtics this offseason if he’s healthy, with the Celtics holding all of the leverage in contract negotiations with Noah’s stock as low as it’s ever been.
