Comerica

Comerica started out as the Detroit Savings Fund Institute when it was founded in 1849 in Detroit. Comerica had been headquartered in Detroit until 2007, when the company decided to move their corporate headquarters to Dallas, TX.

Though the company has moved it’s headquarters, the bank still has it’s roots in Detroit. In fact, Comerica holds the naming rights to Comerica Park, where the Detroit Tigers play until 2028.

Comerica is not a Fortune 500 company, but their relevance to the Detroit area is the key. Gores, a Flint native, loves Detroit and community development, and Comerica is still relevant to Detroit. Comerica could be in play for the Pistons’ jerseys.
